North Naples Middle School students are sending special greetings to the troops overseas.
Students are sending a note to thank the men and women who serve our country and will continue signing metal plaque greeting cards today and Friday.
The cards are hand-crafted by local professional artisans. View the cards and "metal of honor" greeting cards at Metalation®.com.
Operation Gratitude will send more than 70,000 care packages to the troops in this Holiday Drive.
Anyone can participate by writing a letter to the troops.
"This way of giving back can be a chance for them to win $2,000 for the school of their choice," said Dawn Pierne, Artisan for Metalation® Innovations, Studio Arts & Graphics, Inc.

Hey all,
I had a lot of questions about Metalation® so thought I'd give it a bigger plug.
A good friend of mine, Wendy Driscoll, with Landfall Graphics, has developed a new process "Metalation®" which transposes any type of high resolution pictures onto a thin aluminum sheet. It's a very unique process that makes miniature plaques which can be used as gifts, formal correspondence, greetting cards, golf bag tags, etc. I'm trying to promote this product on the golf tours.
Wendy has directed her energies toward veterans groups and charitable organizations, and the Medal of Honor program is a unique way to honor any soldier, retired or active, who may be close to you. It's really a cool product that could be used as Christmas cards, wedding invitations, group pictures, alumni gatherings, family reunions, and the list is infinite.
